Alright, let’s talk about this… uh… “*,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would say. But I reckon it’s just about games, ain’t it? Games on that little phone thingy everyone’s always starin’ at.
So, you want games, huh? Well, my grandkid, he’s always playin’ games on his phone. Drives me nuts sometimes, but I guess that’s what young folks do these days. He’s always talkin’ ‘bout “apps” and “downloads” and such. Confusin’ stuff, if you ask me.
What kind of games are we talkin’ about? He’s got some racin’ games, where you drive cars real fast. Says there’s this one called… uh… “Need for Speed Underground”? Yeah, that’s it. Sounds dangerous to me, all that speedin’ around. But he seems to like it. He’s always yellin’ at the phone, “Faster! Faster!” Kids these days!
Then he’s got these other games, where you build things. Like, houses and farms and stuff. I don’t get it, but he spends hours on them. Says it’s relaxin’. Relaxin’? When I wanna relax, I sit on the porch with a glass of sweet tea. Ain’t no need for no fancy phone games for that.
- Racin’ games – drive cars fast.
- Buildin’ games – make houses and stuff.
- Puzzle games – gotta think hard for these.
- Shootin’ games – bang bang bang! Not my cup of tea.
Now, where do you get these games? My grandkid, he says you get ‘em from somethin’ called the “Google Play Store.” Sounds like a big ol’ store, but it’s all inside that little phone. Imagine that! You just push a button and the game comes right to you. Magic, I tell ya, pure magic. But sometimes, he says you can get games from other places too. Like, this “Bazaar” thing. Says it has “Need for Speed Underground” game for download. I don’t know about that, sounds fishy to me. I always tell him, be careful what you download, you never know what you’re gonna get.
He also mentioned something about “companies getting rid of things.” I don’t know what that is. Maybe games getting too old and thrown out? Like those old clothes we used to mend, no one fixin’ things anymore just tossing them out.
And what about this “android” part? That’s just the kind of phone it is, I guess. Like how some folks have Ford cars and some have Chevy. Just different names for the same thing, far as I’m concerned. As long as you can make a phone call and play them games, that’s all that matters, right?
Anyway, if you wanna find games, just go to that “Google Play Store” thingy or maybe that “Bazaar”. But be careful, there are lots of games out there. Some good, some bad. My grandkid, he’s always showin’ me new ones. Some of ‘em are kinda fun, I gotta admit. But most of ‘em just make my head spin. Too much noise and flashin’ lights.
So, that’s what I know about this “*” thing. It’s about games, and phones, and that “Google Play Store” where you download the game. And don’t forget about other places where you can find apps like that “Bazaar” thingy, just be careful what you get from these places. And don’t forget, sometimes things just disappear because they get too old.
And don’t spend too much time starin’ at that little screen, you hear? Go outside, get some fresh air. That’s what I always say. Ain’t nothin’ better than a good walk in the sunshine and maybe some sweet tea.
