I’ve been messing around with my computer lately, trying to make things a bit easier on my eyes. You know how it is, staring at a screen all day can really do a number on you. So, I was playing around with the settings and thought I’d share a little trick I figured out on how to make the text bigger in those sticky notes on Windows 11. It’s nothing fancy, but it might help someone out there.
First off, I gotta say, Windows 11 does have some built-in options to adjust the text size overall. But I wanted something just for the sticky notes, not the whole system.
Here’s what I did:
- I opened up the Settings. Just hit the Windows key and type “Settings”, you’ll find it.
- Then, I went to Accessibility. It’s usually on the left side of the Settings window.
- In there, there is an option called Text size. Click on that bad boy.
Now, you will see a slider that you can move to make the text bigger or smaller.
You just drag it to the right to increase the size.
The cool thing is that it shows you a preview of how big the text will be. Play around with it until you find a size that you like.
I found that bumping it up a couple of notches made a huge difference.
It is super convenient for me.
After you change the size, all the text on your computer will be bigger, including the text in the Sticky Notes app.
This is a lifesaver for me.
I like to use sticky notes a lot, but sometimes they can be hard to read if the text is too small.
I can see everything clearly now and I don’t have to squint my eyes all day long.
So yeah, that’s my little experiment with making the font size bigger in sticky notes on Windows 11. It’s not rocket science, but it made a difference for me. Give it a try and see if it works for you. You might be surprised at how much more comfortable it is to read those little notes.
