Okay, guys, let’s talk about this movie, “Dark Windows”. I just watched it, and let me tell you, it got me thinking the whole time about who the killer could be. This flick is directed by some dude named Alex Herron, and apparently, it’s his second time doing one of these horror things. It’s all set somewhere in North America, which, you know, is a pretty big place, so that doesn’t really narrow it down, haha.
So, I started watching, and right off the bat, you get this creepy vibe. There is an accident and those teens are involved in this. After that, they went to a summer house I think. The setting, the music, everything just screams “something bad is gonna happen”. I was trying to piece together clues like some kind of detective. At first, I thought maybe it was this one character because they were acting all shady, but then another thing would happen, and I’d be like, “Wait, no, maybe it’s THAT person.” It’s like a puzzle, you know? A really messed up, scary puzzle.
I kept a notepad next to me, which is something I always do when I watch these kinds of movies, you know, a true fan. You never know what little detail might be important later on.
- First suspect: the creepy janitor guy. Classic, right?
- Second suspect: The best friend. Always gotta watch out for those.
- Red herring: That weird neighbor. They made him seem so suspicious, but nope.
- The killer is: The girl’s brother. This really got me.
I was jotting down notes like crazy. Things like:
- “Weird symbol on the door – what does it mean?”
- “Did anyone else see that shadow in the background?”
- “That music is seriously freaking me out.”
Then, I started looking for patterns. Like, maybe the killer only goes after people wearing a certain color, or maybe they always strike at a particular time of day. You gotta think outside the box with these things, or you’ll never figure it out.
And I also noticed that there is a mask that the killer use. I noted the detail of the mask and it really helped me.
Towards the end, I had a few theories, but honestly, I was still pretty stumped. The movie did a good job of keeping me guessing until the very last moment. And when the killer was finally revealed? Let’s just say I didn’t see that coming. It was a total “whoa” moment.
My final thoughts
If you’re into thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat, you should definitely check out “Dark Windows”. It’s got all the good stuff: suspense, mystery, and a twist you won’t see coming. Just be prepared to sleep with the lights on afterward!
I watched this with my friends and it is a totally different feeling when watching alone. Try to watch it with your friends and you will see what I meant.
Remember to take some notes when you are watching and I bet you will find something interesting that is not mentioned by me.
Enjoy watching and let me know what you guys think in the comments!
