Alright, so I had this super annoying internet problem, and I wanted to share how I finally got it fixed. It was driving me crazy!
First off, my internet kept cutting out. Like, all the time. I’d be in the middle of something important, and boom, no connection. So frustrating! I tried the usual stuff, you know, restarting the modem and router. That’s always the first thing they tell you to do. Unplugged them, waited, plugged them back in. Nope, still disconnecting.
Then, I remembered something about updating drivers. So I went into Device Manager on my computer. Found the Network Adapters section and expanded it. There it was, something called “Intel Ethernet Controller I226-V.” I right-clicked on that bad boy and looked for an option to update the driver. Luckily, there was one! I clicked it, and it did its thing.
Guess what? It actually worked! After the driver update, my internet has been stable. No more random disconnects. It’s such a relief! I also did some other changes.
- Set some Tech-Free Zones at home. I created some tech-free zones in my apartment. For example, my bedroom is now a no-phone zone after 9 PM.
- I also got this app called “Freedom” and scheduled downtime from internet.
Seriously, if you’re having internet issues, check your drivers. It might just be the fix you need. And establish some Tech-Free Zones. Hope this helps someone out there!
