Okay, so, I got really fed up with my old internet provider. The speeds were slow, the prices were high, and the customer service was, well, let’s just say it wasn’t great. So I started looking around for a new option and stumbled upon Glo Fiber. I’d heard some good things, so I decided to dig a little deeper.
First things first, I wanted to see what kind of speeds they offered. I mean, that’s the whole point, right? Faster internet! Turns out, they have a bunch of different plans, with speeds going all the way up to like 2.4 Gbps. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t need internet that fast, but it’s nice to know it’s there. I checked out their website, and it was pretty easy to see all the different plans and what they cost.
- 300 Mbps – This one seemed like a good starting point. It’s way faster than what I had before, and the price was reasonable.
- 600 Mbps – This was tempting, you know? Twice the speed! But it was also a bit more expensive.
- 1.2 Gbps – Okay, now we’re getting into some serious speed. This would be great for a big family with lots of devices.
- 2.4 Gbps – This is just insane, honestly. But hey, if you need it, you need it.
I compared the prices to what I was paying before, and it was a no-brainer. Glo Fiber was cheaper, and the speeds were way better. Plus, they had this promotion going on where the first month was free. Free internet for a month? Yes, please! I even saw something about them changing prices in 2025, so that was something to keep in mind, but it still looked like a good deal.
Making the Switch
After some thought, I decided to go for the 300 Mbps plan. It was a good balance of speed and price, and it was a huge upgrade from my old service. I called them up, and the signup process was pretty straightforward. The person I talked to was actually helpful and answered all my questions. They scheduled an installation appointment, and a few days later, a technician came out and set everything up.
It’s been a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with Glo Fiber. The internet is fast and reliable, and I haven’t had any problems at all. The bill is exactly what they said it would be, no surprises. I’d definitely recommend giving them a look if you’re in the market for a new internet provider. Oh, and I found out that they also have TV service, maybe I will try that later.
