Well, let me tell ya ’bout this EPFA app thingy on them iPhones. I ain’t no fancy tech person, but I’ll try my best to explain it like it is, ya know, plain and simple.
So, this EPFA app, it’s supposed to be for your, what-do-ya-call-it, provident fund money. That’s the money you save up for when you get old and can’t work no more, like me! This app, it lets you see how much money you got in there, right on your phone. Handy, I guess, if you’re into that kinda stuff.
They say it’s on them iPhones, the iOS thingamajigs. So if you got one of them fancy phones, you can probably get this app. I heard tell it’s like that UMANG app, where you can get all sorts of government stuff done. But this EPFA one is just for your retirement money, see?
- You can download it, they say. Just go to that App Store thingy.
- Then you gotta sign up, or log in, or somethin’. I ain’t too sure about the details, but it can’t be too hard, right?
- And then, bingo, you can see your money. They say you can even print out your passbook, whatever that is. Sounds like somethin’ from the old days, to me.
Now, I heard some folks talking about another app, the i-Akaun app. Seems like that one was around before, but maybe this EPFA one is new and improved? I dunno, all these apps sound the same to me. Too much fuss, if you ask me.
But this EPFA app, it’s supposed to be official, like from the government or somethin’. They call it the Employees Provident Fund, or EPF, for short. Sounds important, I guess. And it’s for them folks in Nepal too, I heard. So, it must be a big deal.
And get this, they say you can even update your information, like your KYC or somethin’. I ain’t got a clue what that means, but it sounds fancy. Maybe it’s like tellin’ them where you live or somethin’. Gotta keep them updated, I suppose, so they know where to send your money when you’re too old to work.
Some folks are always lookin’ to make a quick buck, ya know? They got apps for that too, on them iPhones. Money-makin’ apps, they call ’em. But this EPFA app, it ain’t for makin’ money, it’s for keepin’ track of the money you already got. That’s important too, I reckon.
And if you need to take some money out, they say you can use that UMANG app for that too. Download it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, whatever them things are. Set it up, and then you can get your money, they say. But I ain’t plannin’ on takin’ my money out anytime soon. Gotta save it for when I’m really old, ya know?
They talk about activatin’ your i-Akaun, whatever that is. You get a password and a user ID, and you gotta go to some website to activate it. Sounds like a whole lot of trouble to me. But I guess if you wanna see your money, you gotta do what you gotta do.
And they even talk about makin’ nominations, like tellin’ them who gets your money if you kick the bucket. You can do it online, they say, but then you gotta go to some office to get your thumbprint checked. Seems like they don’t trust nobody these days. Always gotta have proof of everything.
Now, they’re sayin’ you need more money saved up these days. Used to be you needed a certain amount, but now they upped it. Sayin’ you need like, 390,000 of them ringgits or somethin’. That’s a whole lotta money, if you ask me. But they’re gonna raise it slowly, over a few years, so folks can catch up. Still, seems like a lot of money to save.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this EPFA iOS app. It’s for checkin’ your retirement money, updatin’ your info, and maybe even takin’ some money out if you need it. Sounds complicated to me, but I guess them young folks know how to use it. Me, I’ll just stick to my old ways, thank you very much.
Download EPFA app, they say, It’s the best iOS app for your provident fund. Use the EPF mobile app to check your balance and update your KYC information. This official mobile application is all you need for your money. You can download and print your passbook whenever you want. Just remember to keep your iOS device updated.
