Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Fallout Shelter on my iPhone lately, and let me tell you, it’s addictive. But sometimes, you just want to get ahead a little faster, right? So, I dug around and found some neat tricks that I wanna share.
Redeem Codes
First off, redeem codes. These are like freebies the game gives out. To use them, I just tapped the three lines in the bottom right corner of the screen, you know, to open the menu. Then, I went to ‘Settings’ and there it was, ‘Redeem Code’. Typed it in, and boom, free stuff!
Quests for Lunchboxes
Now, for those lunchboxes. They’re like treasure chests in the game. The easiest way I found to get them for free is by doing quests from the overseer’s office. I focused on the harder ones and those limited edition events. They usually gave out lunchboxes as rewards. Easy peasy.
Getting More Caps
Caps, the currency of the game, can be a pain to collect. But here’s a trick: I trained up the luck stat of my dwellers. This one guy, I pumped up his S, P, A, whatever was needed for the room, and maxed out his luck to 10. Every time I collected resources from that room, he’d bring in a ton of caps because of his high luck. Get a couple of guys like that, and you’re rolling in caps.
Messing with Time
This one’s a bit sneaky. I went into my phone’s settings, then ‘General’, and then ‘Date & Time’. Turned off the ‘Auto’ option for the time. This let me jump the game’s time forward. Made things happen quicker. But heads up, sometimes when I went back to the real-time, the game got a bit wonky. So, be careful with this one.
Building Rooms Strategically
Oh, and don’t forget about building rooms. I built a lounge to up my dwellers’ charisma, a classroom for their intelligence, and a weight room for strength. It’s all about boosting those stats, makes everything run smoother.
Infinite Lunch Boxes and Money Exploit
This last trick, I saved the best for last. For this one, I had to start a new vault. I placed the rooms I started with, and then did something that felt like cheating. I followed the steps to mess with the game’s internal settings. It requires some tech know-how, but it essentially gave me infinite lunch boxes and money. Felt a bit like a god in the game, haha.
So yeah, that’s my experience with finding ways to get ahead in Fallout Shelter on iOS. It’s all about being a bit clever and sometimes bending the rules a little. Remember, it’s just a game, so have fun with it!
