Alright, so I wanted to get into this game called Fallout Shelter on my iPhone. It’s one of those games where you build and manage stuff, and honestly, I just wanted to mess around and not take it too seriously.
So, I started playing, made my little vault, and got the hang of things. But here’s the thing, I didn’t want to grind for hours just to get things going, you know?
I started looking around the internet to see if there was a way to make things a little faster. A lot of people talked about using stuff like iExplorer or iFunBox, but then others said those didn’t work anymore because of some phone update. There was just so much random info, and it was hard to figure out what was true.
I even found some online tool that was supposed to let you edit save files, but that didn’t even work for me.
Then I thought, “what if I could just mess with the game’s files directly?” Some guides mentioned something about “%appdata%,” but that didn’t seem to apply to iPhones.
Then I tried this, and it actually worked:
- First, I made sure my game was saved to the cloud, you know, just in case I messed something up.
- Then, I opened up the game on my phone and made sure it was the latest save file.
- Next, I found a way to get into the game files.
- Finally, I found the save file and started tinkering.
Boom! I could give myself a ton of resources and speed up the game however I wanted. No more waiting around! It was pretty great, but I guess for people who really like the challenge of the game, this would totally ruin it.
But for me, it was perfect. I could just mess around and build my vault without all the boring stuff.
So yeah, that’s how I hacked Fallout Shelter on my iOS. It took a bit of digging, but I got it working in the end.
