Well, I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it. This here computer thing, it’s givin’ me a heck of a time. Says “failed to load ldlinux.c32“. What in tarnation is that supposed to mean? It’s like it’s speakin’ a whole different language. I just wanted to get this thing to work, ya know? Now I’m stuck starin’ at this here screen, feelin’ dumber than a doorknob.
I tried to put that Linux thing on my USB drive. Folks said it was easy. They said, “Oh, just download this here file, and use this here program, and boom, you’re good to go.” Well, boom is right. Boom, my whole plan went up in smoke. I followed them instructions like I was readin’ a recipe for apple pie. Got the file, got the program, and now I’m just sittin’ here with this “failed to load ldlinux.c32” message starin’ back at me. Like a cow lookin’ at a new gate, I just don’t get it.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this Rufus thing. Sounds like a dog’s name to me. But they say it helps you put stuff on a USB drive. So, I got me this Rufus thing, thinkin’ it would solve all my problems. I chose this Linux thing, hit the button, and waited. And waited. And waited some more. It did some stuff, and I was hopeful, then bam, that “failed to load ldlinux.c32” popped up again. Like a weed in my garden, it just keeps comin’ back.
There’s also somethin’ called UNetBootin, sounds like a fella I used to know. Maybe that’s the ticket, but for now I’m stuck with this error. I’m gonna list out what I done, maybe someone smarter than me can figure it out:
- Got me a USB drive. Big enough, I reckon.
- Downloaded that Linux thing they call an ISO. Big ol’ file.
- Got that Rufus program, that dog’s name one.
- Tried to put the Linux on the USB with Rufus.
- Got that “failed to load ldlinux.c32” message.
- Tried it again, same darn thing.
Some folks say you gotta use a different computer to put that ISO on the USB. How’m I supposed to do that? I only got this one computer and that’s the one that ain’t working right! It’s like tellin’ me I need a horse to get to the store to buy a horse. Makes no sense.
Others say the Rufus thing, maybe I got the old one. Like it’s gone bad, like milk left out in the sun. How do I know if it’s the old one? It just says Rufus. Don’t tell me no version or nothin’. Maybe I gotta get a new Rufus? But where do I get it? And how do I know it’s the right one? This whole failed to load ldlinux.c32 business is givin’ me a headache bigger than a washtub.
I even tried that other thing, that PenDriveLinux. Sounds like somethin’ you’d use to write a letter, not fix a computer. But I was desperate. Tried it with that Zorin OS thing. It seemed to work, said it installed, told me to restart the computer. So I did. And guess what? Nothin’. Just a black screen. Didn’t even get to that failed to load ldlinux.c32 message that time. Progress, I guess? But still not workin’.
I’m startin’ to think this whole computer thing is just a bunch of hooey. Like a wild goose chase. You run and run and run, and all you end up with is tired and frustrated, and still no goose. And I’m definitely tired and frustrated. This failed to load ldlinux.c32 thing has got me beat. I’m gonna try to write down the things that other people tried, I guess:
- Get the new Rufus. Maybe that’ll fix it. Like gettin’ a new rooster for the henhouse.
- Try a different computer. If I can find one that ain’t mine.
- Try that UNetBootin thing, maybe that has less problems than Rufus.
- Make sure that ISO file, that Linux thing, is good. Maybe it’s rotten, like a bad apple.
I just wanna get this Linux thing workin’. They say it’s better, faster, safer. Like a new plow that cuts through the dirt easier. But right now, it’s just a big ol’ mess. And this “failed to load ldlinux.c32” is the biggest part of the mess. It’s like a stubborn mule that won’t budge. You can pull and you can push, but it just stands there, lookin’ at you with those big, dumb eyes. And that’s exactly how I feel right now. Like a stubborn mule, starin’ at a computer screen, with no idea what to do next. Just hopin’ someone can help me get this thing movin’ again before I lose my mind completely with this failed to load ldlinux.c32 problem.
This whole thing reminds me of the time my old cow, Bessie, got stuck in the mud. Took half the town to get her out. Maybe that’s what I need here. Half the town to help me figure out this computer mess. And this “failed to load ldlinux.c32” thing, well, it’s just like that mud. Sticky, messy, and keepin’ me from gettin’ where I need to go.
