Well, this here new phone thing, they call it iOS 16, you know. It’s got all these fancy pictures you can put on it. They call ’em wallpapers. My grandson, he’s always messin’ with his phone, changin’ the pictures all the time. He tried to show me, but it’s all a bit much for these old eyes.

But I reckon I kinda get it. You can put pictures of your own on there, pictures of your family, your pets, whatever you like. That’s kinda nice, I guess. My grandson says it makes the phone look “clean.” I don’t know about that. Seems like it would just make it harder to use. But what do I know? I still remember when phones had cords, and you had to dial them with a wheel.
