Okay, so, the other day I was trying to figure out something about this whole “is the internet a utility” thing. I mean, we use it for everything, right? It’s like water or electricity at this point. So, I dove in.

First, I tried to get some stuff to keep me warm cause it’s been freezing lately. Looked up some electric heaters and propane heaters stuff online. That’s when it hit me – I’m using the internet to find basic necessities. It felt like more than just a convenience.

Then I started looking into how this whole thing is viewed legally. I stumbled upon this article about a court ruling. Apparently, some big-shot court in Washington decided that high-speed internet can indeed be defined as a utility. That was a huge find! It was like, “Boom! It’s official!” or something like that.

I got a little sidetracked and looked up some DMV stuff. I wanted to see if I could renew my license plate sticker online without having to go down there. And guess what? I could! I didn’t have to wait in line or anything. That saved me a ton of time. The internet made that happen.
