Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with my Linux setup, and I needed this thing called Momentum Sampler. It’s like, this software that helps you do some cool audio stuff, I guess. Anyway, I’m running a 64-bit system, so I needed to find the right version.
First, I checked if there is a latest version on the Internet. It seems the Momentum updated their client and I found their latest version is 1.4.81, which is exactly what I want!
Then I started to download this latest version.
After I downloaded the file, I went to configure my environment. I’ve heard that I need to do some settings. Luckily, I found some useful information to create a .env file and I followed the instruction to do so.
I also know that it is a good idea to have a virtual environment. So, I created a virtual environment to avoid the conflict of different version.
Then I need to install it. I found some guide talking about how to install it and some preparation, which is quite useful for me. I did all the preparation work before installation.
I started the installation process. It took a while, but nothing crazy.
Once the installation was done, I launched Momentum. It supports my operating system, which is great! I played around with it for a bit, tried out some of the features. It’s pretty slick, to be honest.
So yeah, that’s basically it. I got Momentum Sampler up and running on my 64-bit Linux machine. It was a bit of a process, but I got it working. Now I can start diving into some more serious audio projects.
