Okay, so, I’ve been eyeballing this S.* Android 17 figure for a while now. You know, the one from the Universe Survival Saga in Dragon Ball Super. Finally, I decided to take the plunge and grab one. I saw some posts online saying pre-orders were ending soon, so I figured, better now than never, right?
I found it on some website, not gonna name-drop here, but they had a bunch of other figures too, looked pretty legit. They were bragging about best prices, complete services, free shipping, the whole nine yards. Sounded good enough, so I placed my order.
The waiting game was a bit of a pain, but hey, that’s just how it is with these things. I spent that time watching some review videos online. One dude, in particular, seemed genuinely stoked about this Android 17 figure, kept going on about how “good” it turned out. That got me even more hyped up.
Eventually, the package arrived, and let me tell you, ripping that box open was a thrill. First impressions? This figure is pretty slick. The detail is insane. I started messing around with it, posing it in all sorts of battle stances. It’s super articulated, you can get it into some seriously dynamic poses. I tried to recreate some scenes from the show, it was actually pretty fun.
Playing Around
- Spent a good chunk of the afternoon just fiddling with the figure.
- Tried out all the different hands and faceplates it came with.
- Definitely made some “pew pew” sound effects while doing it, don’t judge me.
I gotta say, that review guy wasn’t lying. This Android 17 figure is a solid addition to my collection. Now I just gotta find a good spot to display it, maybe next to my other Dragon Ball figures.
I browsed a forum to read what other folks thought, and yeah, there’s a whole bunch of people just as excited about these S.* figures. It’s like a little community of plastic figure enthusiasts, which is kinda cool.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the S.* Android 17 figure. If you’re a Dragon Ball fan and you’re thinking about getting one, I’d say go for it. Just make sure you find a decent place to buy it from, and don’t be afraid to act out some scenes, it’s part of the fun!
