Okay, so, I’ve been on the hunt for remote iOS jobs for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started, like everyone else, by hitting up the usual suspects. I went over to Indeed and LinkedIn, you know, the big job boards. I spent hours browsing, filtering, and applying. They are okay, but I wanted to see what else was out there.
Then, I remembered a few other sites I’d heard about. I checked out , We Work Remotely, and FlexJobs. These were pretty cool, especially FlexJobs, as it seemed to have a decent amount of iOS roles, even some that weren’t super senior-level. I bookmarked a bunch of interesting positions and fired off some applications there, too.

I also recalled someone mentioning some companies that usually hire for remote positions. So, I went straight to the career pages of Conduent, Concentrix, and TTEC. I browsed through their listings. This was a bit more hit-or-miss, but I did find a couple of roles that looked promising, so I applied.

After that, I thought, “Why not try some niche sites?” I did a quick search and stumbled upon some articles talking about the best sites for remote jobs. Apparently, millions of people are searching for remote and work-from-home jobs, which is crazy! Anyway, I found a few lists of top websites for finding remote jobs. I cross-referenced them and started exploring some of the less-known ones.
There was this one site, Dice, that’s all about tech jobs. I figured it was worth a shot since iOS development is definitely tech. I created a profile, uploaded my resume, and started browsing. I found some pretty interesting positions there, and the application process was straightforward. And I discovered that I can use many useful apps to find a new job. I used most of them and I have applied for many jobs.
I even started looking into companies that are known for being remote-friendly, even if they didn’t have specific iOS roles listed. I figured it couldn’t hurt to reach out and express my interest. I sent out a few emails, just introducing myself and explaining what I was looking for. And I think it worked.
After a lot of effort I got the job I wanted.
The whole process has been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’ve definitely learned a lot. It’s not just about where you look, but also how you look. You gotta be persistent, creative, and willing to put yourself out there. And who knows, maybe your dream remote iOS job is just around the corner!
