Well, let me tell ya, this Creality Print thing on the Mac, it’s giving me a headache bigger than a watermelon! I ain’t no fancy computer person, but I sure know when something ain’t working right.
My Problem with Creality Print 4 and Mac
I heard all this talk about 3D printing, makin’ all sorts of things right in your own home. Sounded neat, so I got myself one of them printers and this Creality Print thing to go with it. Now, they say it’s easy to use, “practical and easy-to-use” they say. Hmph! Easy for who? Not for this old lady, that’s for sure.
The dang problem is, I can’t get this thing to select the models I wanna print. I open the program, I see my models all nice and pretty on the screen, but when I go to click ‘em, nothin’ happens! It’s like they’re glued down or somethin’. Frustratin’ as all get out!
- Tried clickin’ ’em once, clickin’ ’em twice, even tappin’ the screen like it was a stubborn mule. Nothin’!
- And sometimes, when I do manage to get one selected, I can’t select another one. It’s like it only wants to print one thing at a time, and that ain’t right. I wanna print a whole bunch of stuff at once, you see!
- I heard folks talkin’ ’bout “de-selecting” and “adding a second model,” but I don’t even know where to start with that fancy talk. All I want is to click and print, is that too much to ask?
What I’ve Tried
Now, I ain’t one to give up easy. I poked around this Creality Print thing, lookin’ for somethin’ that looked like it might help. I even saw somethin’ called “slice.” Sounds like somethin’ you do with a knife, not a computer program! But they said it makes the file the printer needs, a “.gcode” file they called it. So I clicked that “Slice” button, and it did show me the model all sliced up, but it still didn’t let me select the darn things properly in the first place!
Then there was this “Calibration” tab. More fancy talk! “VFA” they called it. Somethin’ about “start speed,” “end speed,” and “step.” Sounded like drivin’ a car, not printin’! I left those numbers alone, figured they knew what they were doin’. But still, no luck with selectin’ the models.
I even tried movin’ things around with that “Move” tool. You know, the one with the little arrows? I could drag the models around on the screen, but that didn’t help me select them any better. They just moved around like chickens in a coop, still unselectable.
Other Issues and What Others are Sayin’
And it ain’t just me, you know. I heard some other folks havin’ trouble too. Some talk about “lan print” issues, whatever that is. And others are sayin’ they’re usin’ the “newest Creality Print” on their Mac, and it still ain’t workin’ right. So it ain’t just my old computer, it’s this darn program!
What I Need
Look, I just want this thing to work. I ain’t askin’ for the moon. I just want to be able to select my models, put ’em on the build plate, and print ‘em. Is that so hard? I need a simple way to do it, none of that fancy computer mumbo jumbo. Just click and print, that’s all I want.
This Creality Print is supposed to help you control and monitor your 3D printer, but how can you do that if you can’t even select the models you want to print? It’s like havin’ a car with no steering wheel. You can start the engine, but you can’t go anywhere!
I hope someone out there can help me figure this out. Maybe there’s a simple fix I’m missin’. Or maybe Creality needs to get their act together and make this program work better for folks like me who ain’t computer whizzes. Until then, I’m stuck with a fancy printer and a program that just won’t let me print nothin’! It’s enough to make a body wanna go back to whittlin’ wood.
Someone needs to tell these young computer folks that simple is better. We don’t need all these bells and whistles, just something that works! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and right now, this Creality Print is broke as a screen door in a hurricane.
So, if you know how to fix this model selection problem on Creality Print 4 for Mac, speak up! Don’t leave an old lady hangin’ here with a useless printer. I wanna make things, not fight with a computer program all day long!
I reckon that’s all I gotta say about this Creality Print mess. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m goin’ to go have a cup of coffee and try to forget about this headache for a while.
