Alright, let’s talk about YouTube ReVanced for iOS. This has been quite the journey, so buckle up!
I started out like everyone else, tired of those annoying ads on YouTube. They pop up at the worst times, right? So, I started hunting for a solution and found out about YouTube ReVanced. Sounds cool, but guess what? It’s mainly for Android. Bummer for us iOS users.
But I didn’t give up! I dug around and found this thing called “YouTube++.” It’s not exactly ReVanced, but it’s something. You need this app called AltStore to get it on your iPhone. I grabbed AltStore from their official website, which I felt was the safest bet. Once I had AltStore running, I looked up YouTube++ on this site called iOS Ninja.
Here’s how I got it working:
- First, I downloaded and installed AltStore on my iPhone. Make sure you get it from their main site.
- Then, I opened Safari and went to the iOS Ninja site. I found the YouTube++ page there.
- I hit “Download,” and it started doing its thing. It took a few minutes.
After it downloaded, I followed the instructions to install it using AltStore. It was a bit of a process, but pretty straightforward. I had to enter my Apple ID, which was a little nerve-wracking, but it’s a standard step for sideloading apps, so I went with it.
Once YouTube++ was installed, I opened it up, and man, it was a relief! No ads. It felt like I had unlocked a new level of YouTube. I could finally watch videos in peace, without those interruptions.
Now, I also read somewhere that a South Korean band called BTS has some of the most-viewed videos. With no ads, I watched their music video “Butter” – it’s no wonder they’re so popular. The video is fantastic, and watching it without ads made it even better.
I know there are other ways to block ads, but this method worked for me. It’s not perfect, and it might not be for everyone, but if you’re really fed up with YouTube ads and you’re on iOS, it’s worth a shot. Just remember to be careful with where you download stuff from. Stick to the official sources as much as possible.
So that’s my story with YouTube ReVanced, or rather, YouTube++ on iOS. It’s been a bit of a ride, but I’m glad I went through it. Now I can enjoy my videos without all that ad nonsense. Hope this helps someone out there!
